Meet the Team

Hi, my name is Heather!

I started working with Dr. Shaw 11 years ago when she was fresh out of Vet School.  She and I just worked well together so it was a no brainer when the opportunity came up to be a mobile technician for her.

I have been a licensed technician for 7 years and can’t believe I get to work with animals almost everyday!  As a mobile technician I help Dr. Shaw out by doing nail trims, expressing anal sacs, bloodwork, injections and much, much more!

I absolutely love working with animals…though they may not speak to me, I love that I can be there to help them!  At times I feel they give me a look that tells me they need some help and I try to do what I can to assist them.  Animals with their unconditional love make it easy to want to work with them.

With 4 animals at home (3 dogs /1 cat) and three kids and a husband my life gets hectic at times but I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

I absolutely love that I can go to people’s homes to help them.
